MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To lead and direct the nursing service in the hospital
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Compile, implement and monitor the hospital-specific nursing strategy
Drive and support a culture of quality nursing care and patient safety
Manage resources to ensure optimal operational efficiency
Manage the patient experience
Lead and manage people in the nursing department
Manage key stakeholder relations
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: 3 or 4-year Diploma or 4 year Degree in Nursing; Nursing Management qualification
DESIRED EDUCATION: Nursing Education qualification
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years professional experience in a tertiary healthcare institution; 2-3 years management experience in a tertiary healthcare institution
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Patient Safety management; Infection Prevention and Control management; Nursing Education

- Auditing and accreditation processes
