MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To execute and lead an effective and efficient operational and financial strategy for the business unit aimed at sustainable growth and development and quality outcomes in line with the strategic direction of the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
1. To lead and manage the team
2. To guide and support sustainable business development and growth initiatives for the business unit in line with overall business strategy.
3. To provide operational financial management direction aimed at improving profitability and monitoring financial governance, patient administration and related control measures.
4. To actively build sustainable business relationships with key strategic stakeholders.
5. To pro-actively monitor and manage the high-level patient experience processes.
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
1. UAE regulatory healthcare framework.
2. Healthcare industry and financial and commercial business drivers.
3. Budgeting and financial planning and management principles.
4. Business metrics, governance and risk management.
5. Demonstrate a sound understanding of the Patient Journey.
6.Commercial awareness.
7. Sound knowledge of revenue cycle management and processes.
8. Knowledge of marketing principles.
9. Contract and SLA management principles.
DESIRED EDUCATION
1. Post Graduate Degree in Management and/or Finance.
2. A relevant qualification in Finance or Accounting will be an advantage.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
1. Senior leadership experience in the healthcare sector in the UAE.
2. At least 3-5 years’ relevant senior leadership experience in a healthcare setting of which at least 3 years involved financial management functions.
