About the roles
We are currently recruiting for 2 full-time HSE Assurance Specialists to report to the HSE Excellence, Risk and Assurance Manager. These roles can be based anywhere on the East Coast of Australia and travel will be involved. You will facilitate and conduct health, safety and environment internal assurance activities and inspections to identify implementation gaps and engineer corrective actions to drive continuous improvement at our country sites and ports. The role will also require you to coach and build leader-capability of GrainCorp’s HSE Management System.
This is an excellent opportunity to build your HSE skills, experience some travel and truly make an impact.
About your experience
• Tertiary qualification in work health and safety (or working towards) is ideal
• Demonstrable experience as a Quality, Safety and Environment Management System Auditor
• Strong verbal and written communications skills and able to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• IT savvy (competent in Microsoft package and ability to work with various systems)
• Action-oriented with effective time management and prioritisation skills
• Demonstrable attention to detail
• Commitment to continuous improvement
• Flexibility to travel most weeks
