- Assist in the area of regional financial profitability analysis and planning. Provides data through preparing financial plans and reports to be utilized in making well-informed decisions. Act as a financial advisor for regions to help identify and understand region-specific areas that may need improvement.
Major Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual forecasts, regional financial forecasts, and appropriate financial targets.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports reflecting actual performance against budgets and forecasts monthly. Will also help prepare presentation material for any Executive meetings.
- Assist in the development of plans and processes to optimize regional profitability – includes modeling.
- Work closely with all Advertising, Corporate Planning, Incentives and Sales analysis departments to reconcile program effectiveness.
- Help analyze and review regional variable marketing funds: Advertising, Incentives and Market Support Programs.
- Calculate impact of various factory order scenarios to maximize both profitability and sales volume.
- Help develop methodologies to analyze regional profitability by sales type (cash, lease, APR) at the region, district, and dealer levels.
- Frequent written and verbal communication with departments on regional actions.
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses as required.

- This is a support position, focused on delivering day to day tasks and analyses with a degree of autonomy while receiving general instructions and supervision.
Education
~Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance~ Master’s degree a plus~ Must be a high school graduateRelated Experience
- Five or more years of experience of which at least three years of directly related financial planning experience.
- Large, multinational organization experience preferred.
- Automotive experience strongly desired.
Skills/Knowledge
- Strong personal computer skills, i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
- Proven efficiency leveraging data from various systems for analysis and reporting (including AS/400, ISeries, QMF, SAP, Altyrex, MicroStrategy, Tableau and SQL analytics).
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to formally present financial information to management.
