About the Role:
As a GT Assembler Apprentice, you'll embark on a rewarding journey to become a skilled professional in our dynamic production environment. You'll work alongside experienced rotor assemblers, learning the intricacies of assembling rotors for [products the rotors are used in - e.g., motors, generators, wind turbines]. This hands-on program combines classroom instruction with practical experience, equipping you with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in rotor assembly.
Responsibilities:
Assist experienced rotor assemblers with various tasks, including component preparation, subassembly, and final rotor assembly.
Learn and adhere to strict quality control procedures, verifying dimensions, clearances, and overall functionality of rotors.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, prioritizing safety protocols at all times.
Observe and learn proper operation and maintenance of assembly tools and equipment.
Participate in classroom training sessions to gain knowledge of rotor assembly techniques, blueprint reading, and quality control principles.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to following instructions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment a plus.
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
Ability to learn and follow instructions effectively.
Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to [weight limit] (adjust based on your company's requirements).
