We are now looking for a 

 

Logistics Handler   

 

to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Leicester, UK.

 

What you will be doing 


In this position, you will follow established procedures and guidelines to receive visually inspect and to handle store record. Also, you will dispatch goods in store and onwards to customer within the warehouse in order to reach quality and deliver in time and cost targets in defined area of responsibility.

 

As Logistics Handler, your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Pick and deliver goods according to relevant logistics process.
  • Pick, label and dispatch outgoing goods with relevant documents.
  • Receive incoming goods, check for damage and discrepancies between goods and purchase orders and invoice, this using SAP and Epicor.
  • Accurately sort Label and store goods: arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
  • Participate in inventory checks when required to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Participate in a full stock, take when required.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement process of development quality deliver safety and methods   
  • Keep the stores and warehouse area clean and tidy according to depot guidelines and ensure you work within Health and Safety guidelines and practise.
  • Help and coach and develop other colleagues in daily work. 
  • Operate Fork truck/work equipment or machinery (with licenses when required).
  • Perform any other duties as required.
