Introduction to Shield AIFounded in 2015, Shield AI is a venture-backed defense technology company whose mission is to protect service members and civilians with intelligent systems. Join us as Executive Assistant to the VP of Engineering and be the linchpin in orchestrating efficiency, enabling innovation, and ensuring the smooth flow of executive operations in a thriving and fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Manage the calendar for VP of Engineering, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters
• Handle administrative tasks like time management for the team, recruiting recs, travel, expense reports, etc.
• Take notes and coordinate action items from meetings
• Ensure sure critical action items aren't dropped 
• Ensure teammates follow up with their action items from meetings during the previous week
• Organize meetings for the team, including design reviews and external meetings 
• Assist in managing program schedules for aircraft development
• Polish slides for meetings, put together documents as needed
• Assist in recruiting activities, including LinkedIn sourcing / calling candidates / scheduling interviews
• Take charge of fostering an engaging culture in our Frisco office 
• Own special projects as needed, such as making a recruiting video 
• Additional miscellaneous tasks as required for the success and growth of the business and the team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years experience in a coordination, assistant, or administrative capacity 
• You are reliable, proactive, take initiative and have superior attention to detail  
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• You are comfortable working and communicating with executives 
• You have customer service experience         
• You have great interpersonal and time management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with C-Suite executives
