Nestlé USA, Inc. seeks a Senior Procurement Business Partner Specialist in Arlington, VA

 

Duties: Assist in setting the strategic vision for BP procurement team and serve as the face of Procurement, represent all spend categories (direct and indirect).  Promote strong utilization of procurement tools and new digital practices/tools/ways of thinking to maximize efficiency of the procurement function. Effectively balance competing constraints between business priorities and procurement objectives, using creativity to achieve both as much as practical. Ensure procurement value contribution to the business, using key performance indicators to track and report progress. Translate spend strategy into business strategy at Brand level – including risks and opportunities based on market dynamics. Present material cost forecast reports (data, graphs, commentary) and category insights to Business stakeholders as appropriate. Own and measure cost improvement targets and projects; report to business stakeholders as appropriate. Monitor business goals delivered by the category teams and help periodically reassess the targets. Ensure proper alignment and communications between business and category management teams. Work with category management teams to ensure the category strategy summaries meet business requirements and gain sign-off. Ensure early Procurement involvement in event management projects and Nestlé Product Development and Introduction (NPDI). Continuously contribute to the improvement of procurement function by monitoring performance, raising expectations, and adjusting the organization and business processes to achieve results.

 

 

Requirements:

 

Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance or a closely related field plus 6 years of experience in Procurement Buying or Category Management Roles. Alternatively, employer will also accept 8 years of experience in Procurement Buying or Category Management Roles. 3 years of experience required for each of the following: Experience in purchasing for Global Organizations; Working with Microsoft Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;

Working with SAP, Ariba, or Power BI; Experience in developing global procurement sourcing strategies and category planning; Experience developing Procurement savings improvement opportunities that influence Total Cost Ownership (TCO); Experience with I-Nexus.

Domestic and international travel required up to 15% of time. Telework permitted up to 3 days per week.
