Salary: Circa £43k basic salary plus companywide benefits

Position Summary
We are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Excellence Specialist, reporting to the Production Manager, as a Manufacturing Excellence Specialist, you will drive continuous improvement progression, loss intelligence and continuous improvement projects in your area of responsibility.
You will ensure that a PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) and SDCA Standardise-Do-Check-Act) approach is understood and followed across site, that root cause analysis is correctly identified, and tools correctly deployed.
You will act as back up to the Line Performance Manager role and be developed as a successor to the LPM role.

A day in the life of Manufacturing Excellence Specialist…..
Working closely with engineers and pillar leaders from the different departments, the ME Specialist will support with their strategy, application, and delivery of Focused Improvement practices. In addition, you will help identify improvement opportunities and lead a number of improvement projects throughout the year to deliver business needs. You will have good in-depth knowledge of and experience on TPM implementation and improving the skills of production and maintenance teams on common problem-solving and AM tools.
