Position Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics Project Manager joining our Logistics Systems Team, based in York.

A day in the life of a Logistics Project Manager
Reporting to the Logistics Systems Lead, you will be part of the Logistics Systems Team, handling Supply Chain systems and processes across NUK and affiliates.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
• Lead analysis and evaluation to establish business cases for change which are approved by stakeholders
• Lead diverse, cross functional, multi-disciplined, virtual teams in the delivery of large and complex projects as well as smaller projects.
• Manage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation from sponsors through to those directly impacted to ensure alignment on all project deliverables and approach
• Employ project management tools to ensure detailed project plans are created and maintained tracking keep project milestones, interdependencies, risks and critical paths
• Ensure the development of the skills of project team members through their involvement with strategic projects
• Demonstrating ownership of projects and delivering them through skilful exploitation of matrixes teams securing time resource and expertise as required
• Be able to assess the level of resource required for all projects dependent upon value and timescales to deliver.
What will make you successful?
To be successful in this role, you will be able demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving and operational awareness. You will have advanced systems and project management experience. Supply Chain Logistics experience is preferable. You will be adaptable, able to work at pace and enjoy working in a complex and detail driven environment.
Other key experiences we are looking for:
• Qualifications in Numeracy and Literacy
• Proven Track record in Logistics covering Customer Service, Demand and ensuring supply.
• Advanced Level Computer Literacy Skills
