A day in the life of a Master Production Schedule Planner

The role is responsible for creating, owning and managing the 18-month production and supply plan, recognising all constraints, for the full portfolio of products produced on our five production assets at the Buxton site.

Main responsibilities include:

•    Managing an 18-month constrained production plan that reflects both water and production capacities in order to meet demand requirements over the full horizon.
•    Owning and leading Monthly Planning Reviews with Supply Chain, Production and Engineering teams to challenge and optimise our production plans.
•    Managing stock builds for seasonality in demand with a strong focus on optimising cost within the constraints of our storage network. •    Scenario planning and feeding into strategic decision making via the MBP process and the Monthly Availability Review in particular.
•    Working daily with Demand Planning, Detailed Production Schedulers and the production and engineering teams to ensure we have the optimum level of stock cover and maintain excellent customer service whilst minimising cost and complexity in the factory.
•    Working daily with the Inbound Stock Controller and external Suppliers to ensure alignment of packaging availability in line with changes to the production plan.
•    Working closely with our Princes Gate site and providing and aligning the requirements for Nestle Pure Life which is produced at both sites.

What will make you successful

As you would expect of a growing business, our production plan has many complex variables; it changes a lot and it requires the alignment of many varied stakeholders.
