Position Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join the Nestlé Professional Supply Chain team working with the Starbuck’s business as a Regional Third-Party Supply Planner supporting Zone Europe. We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and passionate individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment who can support the growth of Starbuck’s Beverage Solutions globally.
As a Regional Third-Party Supply Planner in the Nestlé Professional Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for working with Nestle and third-party Suppliers, including Starbucks, to effectively manage our complex operation and ensure supply to the Starbuck’s Hub based in the Netherlands at the right time and right cost. We are looking for someone who is proactive and passionate about continuous improvement and who has effective communication skills and attention to detail. Experience of inter-market supply would be beneficial but is not crucial. A day in the life of 3rd Party Supply Planner
This exciting opportunity would include.
• Accountable for the total supply plan which meets demand at optimum levels of inventory and cost
• Taking initiatives to optimize processes and tools to drive speed and agility at appropriate cost
• Communicate relevant information to stakeholders by highlighting supply issues, and the impacts of inventory with related opportunity costs
• Drive connectivity with demand planning, suppliers, procurement, logistics and customer services to ensure we achieve KPIs effectively
• Proactive management of critical supply lines, working with Starbucks, Suppliers, and the wider team to minimise any Customer Service failures
• Help support the supply of new growth opportunities and management of supplier changes for the business
• Support with Portfolio optimisation Projects alongside the Above Market Starbucks team to streamline and optimise the Starbucks Product portfolio
What will make you successful?
• Previous 1-2 years’ experience in Supply Chain, preferably in demand and supply planning, or imports/exports.
• Intermediate understanding of software applications e.g., Microsoft Excel, SAP etc.
• Open to ambiguity and change, allowing for pragmatic and agile solutions in a unique environment
• Excellent teamwork and virtual collaboration accompanied by a self-motivated passion for success
• A proactive individual with the ability to self-manage and a strong problem-solving mindset
• Effective influencer and communicator across all levels of the business, with a drive to improve existing processes
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
