Circa 40,000 per annum depending on experience plus potential bonus + fantastic benefits

Position Summary
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced R&D Product Specialist to join our KitKat team at our R&D facility in York. This really is a fantastic and broad role that will see you work with many different markets and stakeholders to develop and deliver world class innovations across our Confectionery factories worldwide.
NPTC Confectionery York is Nestlé’s leading centre for Confectionery Research & Development, working in partnership with 2 development centres in Chile and China. In York we are a team of 170 amazing people from over 30 nationalities and a variety of academia. We have a strong focus on inclusion and belonging, an active Wellness program and we support 50 factories globally. Our objective is to provide ideas, technical innovation, and scientific support (for product, process and technology) to continually improve and grow the confectionery business.
Working with our No. 1 Confectionery Brand, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of diverse global projects that encompass the development, innovation, and enhancement of our products.
A day in the life of a KitKat R&D Product Specialist...
What will make you successful?
To be successful in this role you will be qualified to degree level or higher, within a Food Technology/Science or Engineering related subject and/or demonstrate proven experience within an R&D environment where you have operated in a similar role. Previous experience in both an R&D and factory would be desirable but not essential. We are looking for you to be passionate, proactive and results focused whilst acting as an ambassador for the Nestlé Confectionery brand across the world.
