Job Title: Project Procurement Specialist / Buyer
Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire (on site)
Circa £33,000 depending on experience, plus potential bonus + fantastic benefits

We have a fantastic opportunity available, our Nestlé Petcare manufacturing site based within Wisbech, Cambridgeshire have an exciting major Capex Investment project, supporting the site to expand even further, we are looking for a talent Procurement Specialist / Buyer to join the project team to support us with the implementation project.

Reporting into the Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible to lead all Procurement related activities in line with corporate process policies in terms of quality and compliance, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget and fulfilling the agreed objectives.
Key responsibilities of this role:
• Create Purchase Orders
• Monitor deliveries
• Ensure clarification on invoices
• Ensure daily contact with suppliers
• Ensure accuracy of procurement related transactional data
• Ensure the agreed service level with internal stakeholders
• Day to day claims management with suppliers
• Preparation of reports
• Preparation of RFI/RFQ
• Conducting tenders, negotiations, contracts preparation
• Entering new suppliers into the system
To be successful you will either have previous experience within a project engineering department or experience within a fast-paced FMCG procurement position focused on supporting a team will varied procurement related activities.
Other key attributes would be:
• Relevant experience in ensuring supply through correct and timely procurement transactions such as SAP contracts and purchase orders.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good business writing skills.
• Ability to build networks at all levels.
• Negotiation skills.
