In this job, you will:
Align customer strategy in appeal to NORMA management and SBU strategy
Integrate the voice of the customer into product design and performance capabilities
Develop profitable business
Customer responsibility and responsibility for customer growth, pricing, and budgeting for assigned accounts
Main customer contact
Steer the entire Inquiry process from RFQ (or ideally earlier) to nomination (PLCB Phase)
Work closely with Applications Engineering to ensure new business opportunities are converted
Identifies and support resolving specific customer concerns and support executing correction strategies (eg Lesson learned)
responsibility for Must -Win projects process
finding out & forwarding trends of customer in close cooperation with affected departments and AE
Identify customer stake holders
Key Tasks:
Develop relationship with customer by visiting and keeping contact with customer (online meeting)
Drive customers to profitable products and avoid unprofitable products together with AE
conduct prices negotiations in general (eg raw material price increases)
Prepare Minutes of Meeting and document negotiation results
Completing monthly forecasting (Fusion)
Define and submit yearly budget for assigned customers
present QAS at QAC meeting for assigned customers
create direct contact between NORMA dep and customer department
Sales analyses and reporting of customer and market trends
promote innovations
lead the quoting process
process lead of Must-Win projects,
perform lessons learnt study in case of Business LOST for all MUST –WIN
Your qualifications and experience:
Engineering or commercial graduate with a working experience of 5 years in sales or sales related activities, thereof min. 3 years in the Automotive and/or Energy Industries sector
The position of an account manager is related to the finding of customer specific technical solutions and therefore requires a high affinity to engineering topics and a strong knowledge of industry specific solutions, development processes and service provision.
Ability to create and close high-margin deals in a transversal sector.
Ability to negotiate with different interlocutors in complex organizations / environment.
All eligible candidates will need to prove business fluent communications and writing skills in English and preferable in language at the assigned customer.
Candidates will need to be commercially educated in order to understand the stakes, customer-focused in order to meet the needs of each customer,
Detail-oriented, able to work on own initiative, deadline-driven and able to deliver results even under heavy workload, flexible, reliable and team player.
Education: Either engineering degree with commercial experience or commercial degree with strong technical knowledge.
