The Junior Accountant is responsible for posting daily cash transactions, prepares weekly Collections Report, and assists with vendor and expense report coding. The Junior Accountant prepares various monthly account reconciliations.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Posting daily cash transactions
- Preparing weekly Collections Report
- Monthly coding and reconciliation of AMEX
- Assisting with vendor and expense report coding
- Monthly reconciliation of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Handling monthly physical IT inventory and reconcile account
- Assisting with internal and external audits
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 0-1 years of accounting experience
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize
- Unquestionable integrity, objectivity and independence
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence
- Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:
Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30/40 days/quarter.
