Office Manager (FTC)
London
We're seeking a highly organised Office Manager to join our UK team until the end of the year. Working from our Paddington office, you'll lead our dynamic Office Management and Reception team, pivotal in fostering BMG UK's culture. Responsible for day-to-day office operations, you'll collaborate closely with Management, HR, and IT. Key Responsibilities.
- Manage a small team of Junior Staff.
- Manage the internal organisation of the office move.
- Organising regular internal events and Artist showcases.
- Manage and oversee vendors & suppliers.
- Carry out Health & Safety inductions.
- Manage and oversee facilities & maintenance.
- Manage and oversee a busy reception desk.
- Organise Fire & First Aid training in collaboration with HR.
- Manage and oversee ad hoc office/desk moves.
- Make creative decisions regarding office fit outs.
- Develop and train reception team .
- Ensure relevant policies and procedures are followed and adhered to such as the gift giving policies, foreign visitor tracking etc.
- Manage office management budget effectively, which includes raising PO’s.
- Be a friendly and approachable member of the team, as the face of the office.
- Assist with general front of house tasks.
Your Profile.
- Has experience in office moves and refurbs.
- Able to work in the office 5 days a week.
- Front of house and Office Management experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previously worked in a busy, fast pace environment.
- Experience in organising and hosting events.
- Incredibly organised, with a can do attitude.
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Works well under pressure, individually and as part of a team.
- Experience in managing budgets and reconciling company credit card.
It’s a plus if you also have…
- Some experience in procurement.
- A creative background or interests.
- The abiility to learn quickly and adapt to different scenarios and personalities.
