The Head of Operations is responsible for leading the operational team, which is working in partnership with our prestigious IT Clients providing excellent performance, operational solutions, process improvements, and cost savings.
Within the role, your responsibilities will include:
• Providing leadership to deliver operational results that support the business goals
• Support in shaping the operational strategy to achieve customer success
• Identify and drive improvements and efficiencies across operations
• Identify opportunities to enable growth across our customer portfolio by working alongside our Key Account Management teams
• Headcount and Capacity planning to achieve maximum productivity and meet SLAs
• Cost management and resource utilisation, including peak planning and new customer implementations.
• Ensuring site compliance with all Security, H&S, and HR policy and procedures
• Minimising customer complaints and ensuring all corrective actions are completed
• Analysing and managing the P&L and pricing activities to ensure overall profitability, leading and preparing regular reports and business reviews with clients to discuss operational activities, establish work standards and processes, and analyse KPI, SLA, and Quality metrics.
Ideally, you will have experience within 3PL, 4PL, or freight forwarding with an understanding of cross-functional business processes, proven operational leadership skills, and comfortable in managing a diverse team.

You will be a strong, concise communicator and be able to build internal and external relationships with stakeholders and customers. You will be a logical thinker with strong analytical skills that will enable you to feel confident in making decisions and be able to influence and lead the team.
