Through our collaborations with prominent licensors including Lucasfilm, LEGO, Marvel Comics, Disney, Warner Bros, Mattel, and esteemed museums such as The Met and The Science Museum, we have the opportunity to craft visually captivating and knowledge-rich books that engage readers on a global scale across our licensed and non-licensed titles.
Reporting to the Art Director, you will be supported and guided by the two Design Managers working across their lists. As our Design Assistant, you'll be providing essential design and admin support, working closely with the designers to learn from the best and creatively grow while assisting with various tasks.
Your role will involve:
To succeed in this role, you should be a self-starter who embraces new challenges and learning opportunities. We value resilience and the ability to work under pressure, as well as flexibility and openness to change. As a confident communicator, you'll collaborate effectively with team members, managers, and other departments.
A good mix of strong creative and analytical skills is desired, along with the ability to work well across the design and editorial teams. Time management, organisation skills and attention to detail are essential. Also, having a good working knowledge of the Creative Cloud including, Indesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator.
