Are you a talented designer with a passion for book publishing? The DK Licensing Division is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and well-organised designer to be a part of our vibrant and creative team.
At DK, we take pride in producing internationally recognized and best-selling titles that bring popular culture to life across our licensed and non-licensed titles across the Licensing Division. Our partnerships with leading licensors such as LEGO, Lucasfilm, Marvel Comics, Disney, Warner Bros, Mattel, and prestigious museums like The Met and The Science Museum allow us to create visually appealing and information-rich books that captivate readers worldwide.
Reporting to the Design Manager, you'll bring proven and innovative book and cover design experience, along with excellent creative and typographic skills. Juggling multiple projects will be a breeze for you, as you enjoy generating new ideas and problem-solving alongside our design and editorial teams. The right candidate will be proactive and have excellent communication and organisational skills, including managing your own work schedules and budgets.
Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is essential, as you'll be responsible for maintaining our strict technical standards. Your attention to detail and ability to adhere to brand guidelines will ensure our products receive licensor approval and resonate with our audience.

As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the designers and editors, running your own projects and assisting with the design aspects of various projects with support and guidance of the Design Manager, Senior Designers and the print production team. Together, we'll create visually captivating books that make an impact in the publishing industry.
