Embedded within our Trading Department, IT functions at the core, collaborating closely with Analysis and Trading Desks. We deliver solutions across pivotal domains including P&L Reporting, Position Reporting, Weather Data Visualization, Systematic Trading, Market Making, and actively support the exploration of novel trading concepts from our desks, leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies.
- Collaborating within a team of dedicated Software Engineers, you will contribute to developing the platform that drives our innovative solutions for our Trading Frontoffice
- Utilizing state-of-the-art tools and methodologies, you will engineer high-quality code to create new microservices and uphold existing ones
- You tackle challenging problems thoughtfully and collaborate with exceptional individuals to actualize solutions: Collaboration propels you forward, and high-performance code is your objective
- You play a pivotal role in our expansion, both through mentoring junior colleagues and aiding the team's growth
- Your decisions stem from a profound understanding of our business domain, and you closely engage with customers and pertinent stakeholders to generate business value
Your powerful skills
- Proficiency in Python is essential, although experience with C#, SQL and JavaScript is highly desirable
- Demonstrated expertise in container technologies and their deployment
- Relevant proficiency with AWS and in crafting microservices
- Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Extreme Programming, or Kanban
- Enthusiasm for collaborative software development within a team and outstanding communication abilities
- Understanding of software standard practices including Test Driven Development (TDD) and DevOps methodologies
- Experience with user-interface technologies (Typescript, HTML5, and CSS) and frameworks (Angular)
Advantageous, but not a must
- Experience in Energy Trading
