Based in Dubai and reporting into the Sales Support Manager, the position holder will act as custodian of the order process, by entering, expediting, tracking, editing, and processing customer orders using SAP, maintaining customer files and track order status, answering customer enquiries, and giving information and helping to resolve issues.
Job Description
As an Estimator at dormakaba, you will play a pivotal role in providing timely and accurate cost estimations to our customers while ensuring exceptional service delivery. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Responding promptly and efficiently to customer inquiries, managing and prioritizing quotation requests.
Reviewing documentation and preparing quotations using SAP or Excel.
Providing technical support to sales and customer service teams by answering queries and conducting margin estimations.
Supporting customers with customized solutions, including scheduling, compliance statements, drawings, technical data sheets, and more.
Coordinating internally to prepare tender documents and ensure compliance.
Collaborating with Sales & Marketing for pricing requests and Value Engineered (VE) options.
Conducting costing and margin calculation scenarios to provide better visibility to the sales team.
Maintaining accurate reports and ensuring timely updates to quotation logs.
Coordinating with Marketing for new product pricing and article number creation.
Continuous learning of new products and pricing in the industry to enhance knowledge and performance.
Working closely with the Sales team to update sales data and provide visibility to the management team.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor’s degree holder in any discipline; Engineering degree preferred.
3 -5 Years of relevant industry experience ideally with construction, access solutions, or any industrial business
Good knowledge in SAP
Understanding of Project Management concepts in Construction / Access Solutions.
Familiarity with the doors, access systems, hardware, and facade construction industry.
A demonstrated capability to meet established deadlines and to work under pressure in a challenging, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a keen eye on details
Excellent command of English
Customer service mindset and an excellent track record of embracing company values
Team-player but capable of working with limited supervision
