Human Resources Generalist
The Human Resources Generalist role is an entry-level position that will assist with various employee relations. The expectation of this role will be to always uphold company values by interacting with co-workers respectfully and professionally and providing a service to meet their employment needs.
Key Responsibilities
Assist HR Manager in policy execution, hiring and salary administration
Coordinate with Production Planner and Plant Operations Manager on staffing needs and roster
Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees
Assist HR Manager in onboarding process
Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
Process weekly, hourly payroll (Monday attendance is of high importance), including but not limited to, providing all supporting payroll documents, coordinating with Supervisors/Managers, and attending meetings related to payroll
Assist with 5S audits, recycling program, and safety trainings
Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee database (payroll), personnel files, and training records (including but not limited to job and skills certifications and safety).
Maintain proper records of employee attendance and leaves

Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward all Associates
Build sustainable relationships and trust with colleagues through open and interactive communication
Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
Additional tasks as assigned
Ensure all safety and environmental regulations and procedures and 5S procedures are followed by personnel while completing assignments
Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience
Qualifications:
Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to prioritize activities to maximize positive impact for Associates and business.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma/GED required
Preferred - 3 years of experience in equivalent related functions
Preferred – Payroll experience (ADP)
