In this role, we need an energetic and organized team player to balance development and execution of strategic plans across our global licensed portfolio. As the Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Global Toy and Games Licensing Team across the Hasbro Games and Wizards of the Coast portfolio. Reporting directly to the Senior Category Manager, you will be empowered to deliver financial targets against global brand objectives, and responsible for ensuring seamless communication with our licensees and internal partners.

A Day in the life as a Category Manager, Licensing:
Partner with Sr. Category Manager to implement global licensing strategy and drive global development opportunities within toy & game subcategories.
Serve as primary point of contact for licensee relationships, delivering exceptional day-to-day communication and support.
Serve as a liaison between Hasbro consumer brand teams and licensees. Develop high value partnership agreements and work seamlessly with legal on execution of agreements.
Stay updated on the latest developments in the retailer landscape and industry trends, identifying opportunities for growth and partnership.
Assess and qualify initial opportunities, prospect leads, develop pitch materials, and presentations to solicit / secure business proposals.
Partner with financial, legal, and internal licensing partners to ensure alignment across revenue plans, contract compliance, and brand marketing goals, respectively.
Coordinate with creative to ensure approval of and adherence to brand standards.
Partner with marketing and PR counterparts to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
Work closely with the Retail Sales teams to drive product initiative information in order to secure merchandise placement.
Represent Hasbro as a brand ambassador, fostering strong relationships with partners and ensuring alignment with brand values.
What you'll bring:
Bachelors Degree in Business or related field
5 years’ experience in category management, licensing business, or directly related field.
2 years category management experience, demonstrating the ability to lead and drive towards success.
Demonstrated understanding of brand/category positioning, retailer landscape, business development, and retailer distribution.
Track record of successfully pursuing business opportunities and closing deals.
Analytical/Strategic problem solver.
Proven ability to iterate and adapt based on collaboration with others and data insights.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts quickly to change.
Self-starter with a proactive and dependable work ethic.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Mac specific programs such as KeyNote.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the U.S. salary range for this role is: 84,070 - 156,130 . Starting salaries will vary within the stated range based on various factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, skill set, knowledge, education, performance, market demands and budgetary considerations. The range listed is just one component of Hasbro’s total compensation package for employees. Employees may also be eligible for annual and long-term incentives.
