Job Descrption
Job Summary:
The key role of the Intern is to support the Product Development team. The ideal candidate should have an interest in make-up and skincare as well as strong motivation to be involved with and learn the functions of the Product Development department.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the Product Development team in day-to-day requests
- Conduct competitive analyses, including new launches, advertising, formulas and shop for competitive products as needed; present competitive findings to teams
- Schedule and participate to vendor meetings as well as organizing vendors’ submissions
- Process orders to maintain adequate levels of department product inventory
- Assist in reviewing pre-production and pre-shipment samples
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Love cosmetics
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Team-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and administrative skills
- Sense of urgency, attention to detail and ability to multitask and respond to changing priorities
- Strong organizational skills
- Prior experience in marketing or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
