As a Server Engineer you will report to and partner with the Senior Manager over Global Server Operations and be a part of a fast-paced, results-driven, multi-national team. In this role, you will provide administrative support for the Company’s server environment.
So, what will you be doing as a Server Engineer?
- Configuration and maintenance of Windows and Linux server environments
- Provide server administration support to the application development team
- Plan, perform and implement upgrades of server hardware and OS
- Troubleshooting server performance issues
- Server patching during scheduled maintenance
- Support and maintain infrastructure applications
- Manage assigned tickets and escalate issues as necessary
- Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Information Systems
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a systems administrator role
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt and respond positively to challenges in a fast-paced environment
Things we consider a plus:
- Familiarity with Azure and VMWare
- Veeam backup and restore experience
