Senior Site Manager
Glasgow & West Central Scotland
£63,807 - £67,165 per year plus Company car or car allowance
37.5 hours per week, 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday
We have an opportunity for a Senior Site Manager to join our Construction team, based in Glasgow. As a Senior Site Manager the main purpose of your role will be to oversee and monitor the delivery of large scale construction projects to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, design and quality standards in line with Group objectives.
The role of Senior Site Manager will include:
- Ensure all construction projects are delivered in line with legislative and regulatory requirements to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and compliant homes
- Oversee and monitor the delivery of large scale construction projects to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and best practice
- Deliver high quality and value for money construction projects within agreed capital expenditure budgets through effective financial management
- Provide technical support and advice for all construction schemes
- Manage the on-site Health and Safety covering all aspects of work on site
Skills and experiences:
- HND in Building or Construction or other relevant discipline or knowledge and ability at an equivalent level
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification
- First Aid and Health and Safety qualification
- Recent experience in undertaking a similar role
- Project Planning & Resource Programming (using ASTA Powerproject preferably)
- Substantial working knowledge of building regulations, legislation and current practice
- Extensive experience of managing large scale development projects with strong project management skills
- Proven experience of delivering services within budget
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

- Role salary is £60,769 with an additional policy allowance of £3,038 per annum (rising to £63,698 with an additional policy allowance of £3,197 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
The full time equivalent salary for this role is £56,718 with an additional policy allowance of £2,835 per annum (rising to £59,703 with an additional policy allowance of £2,985 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
