We have an opportunity for a Senior Surveyor to join our Commercial Property Programmes team, covering Scotland and the North of England. The purpose of this role is to manage in house and contractor delivered works across all work streams and provide surveying services that respond to customer, organisational and financial needs ensuring a positive customer experience.
The role of Senior Property Programme Surveyor will include:
Survey existing commercial stock to establish future planned capital works and budgets required
Raise tenders on company portal and compile specifications
Manage programmed works from conception through to completion, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, consultants and clients
Process valuations for payment
Ensure investment works are compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements
Maintain appropriate documentation for work specifications and tenders and provide accurate and timely information for management reports
Skills and experiences:
Building related degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification or knowledge and ability at an equivalent level
HNC in building surveying or similar
Experience of managing resources and budgets
Working knowledge of building regulations, legislation and current practices
Previous experience of managing contractors
Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

Role salary if reside outside of London Boroughs, £36,680.64 with an additional policy allowance of 5,142.63 per annum (rising to £38,611.20 with an additional policy allowance of £5,413.29 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
