Estate Staff Supervisor
Kent – covering sites across Kent
£41,603 - £43,793 per year
40 hours per week
We have an opportunity for an Estate Staff Supervisor to join our Estate Services team, based in Kent. The main purpose of this role is to coordinate and ensure the delivery of a quality estate service across multiple schemes that meets contract and service specifications and customer expectations.
The role of Estate Staff Supervisor will include:
- Supervise the carrying out of estate service operations in accordance with contract and service specifications
- Manage a team of Landscape Technicians , Caretakers and Cleaners
- Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations
- Manage the recruitment, performance and development of quality staff
- Support operational staff and customers in resolving difficult problems, such as antisocial behaviour issues and regeneration of existing landscaping
Skills and experiences:
- City & Guilds qualification, NVQ3 or relevant experience in horticulture, Caretaking/Cleaning or other similar discipline
- Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
- Recent experience of undertaking a similar role, preferably within a facilities management or horticulture environment
- Ability to use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
