30 hours per week – early, late and weekend shifts on a 2 week rolling rota

We’re seeking a Care and Support Assistant to provide personal care and support to our customers at Avalon Court. Located on the Ipswich waterfront just 10 minutes from the town centre, Avalon Court consists of 14 self-contained apartments for adults with physical or learning disabilities.
Our Care and Support Assistants provide tailored support on a one-to-one basis. This will include personal care, assisting with activities within the community including days out, shopping and attending appointments as well as helping with finances such as paying bills.
Excellent communication skills are essential as is the ability to build rapport and a trusting, long lasting, relationship with our customers.
We’re looking for candidates with a passion for supporting people with complex needs to live as independently as possible, someone who values kindness and patience and who treats others with dignity and respect.
We provide a comprehensive induction programme as well as on-going training to develop new and existing skills and encourage progression.
