Job purpose
As an intern within the PR, Influence and Events Team at Sephora UK, you will play a pivotal in supporting the various store openings, brand initiatives and product launches. The internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in a dynamic field of beauty and retail, contributing to the development and execution of impactful PR strategies.
Duties and responsibilities
- Event coordination and execution:
- Assist in planning, organising, and executing events related to store openings, brand activations and product launches in store.
- Provide support during events to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Influencer Engagement and Collaboration:
- Assist in identifying and building relationships with relevant influencers, bloggers, and content creators within the beauty and lifestyle space.
- Support outreach efforts and manage communication and admin with influencers to secure partnerships and collaborations.
- Coordinate product seeding and gifting
- PR Campaign Support:
- Aid in the development and execution of PR campaigns to promote store openings, new brand launches and product innovations.
- Assist in drafting press releases and other communication materials.
- Monitor media coverage and compile reports to assess campaign effectiveness and impact.
- Cross Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, especially the Social and Brand team, Affiliates marketing, Merchandising and Store Operations to assist on PR & Events related projects.
- Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the PR, Influence and Events Team.
