Broad Function
As a L&D / HR administrator you will play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance and coordination of the L&D annual agenda. You will also be required to provide administrative support to the HR team in recruitment, employee life cycle, employee relations, benefits, payroll etc.
Principal Responsibilities
L&D Coordinator
Provide support to managers and employees to ensure people can meet their Learning and Development goals.
Keep up to date with the current L&D offerings available to the Farnham Site.
Book and administer training courses hosted by L&D department or external training providers.
Promote L&D events and activities to continue group engagement
Become Site Champion for all systems relating to L&D
HR Administrator
Assist with recruitment procedures and processes
Coordinate the onboarding process and set up induction schedule for new hires
Manage reference checking process for new hires
Prepare employment documentation including contracts, variation to Ts & Cs letters, maternity letters etc
Provide information and advice to staff and line managers regarding HR processes, procedures and policies
Coordinate and organise administrative tasks in support of HR projects and initiatives
Ensure maintenance of ongoing schemes eg. Childcare vouchers, Long Service Awards
Perform general administration duties and maintain personal HR files
Update Payroll as needed regarding pay/benefits changes
Contribute to internal communications
Liaise with Occupational Health as appropriate
Ensure that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards, including employment legislation and recognized HR good practice, and that all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with BSC values - quality and responsiveness are key.
Carry out other reasonable tasks as required by the Line Manager.

Accountable to: HR Business Partner
Internal:
All levels of employees and management at Farnham site
HR centres of excellence, Payroll, Cork HR team
External: Regular contact with external suppliers, job applicants and visitors.
Education and Experience required
Educated to degree level – or similar experience in an HR environment
Previous experience of data management systems
Knowledge of GDPR
Knowledge of HR processes
Skills and Attributes required
Demonstrated computer skills - Microsoft Office preferred
Good written and verbal skills.
Self-starter capable of delivering consistent results to a high level.
Team player and able to interact with colleagues in a constructive and positive manner
Ability to act with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
