Unlock your potential as a Desktop Support Service Technician and join our team today! We're seeking a talented individual who is self-directed and has experience in desktop support, mostly with Windows PCs but Mac experience is a plus. As a Desktop Support Service Technician, you'll be responsible for performing PC break/fix onsite and remotely, identifying the problem and determining the most efficient and cost-effective way to resolve the problem while keeping customer downtime to a minimum.
Location: 1000 AAA Drive Heathrow, FL 32746 (fully onsite)
Days & Hours: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM ET
Duration: At least 3 months - potential to be converted to Full Time Teammate
Salary: $28-31/hr
Key Requirements
- Self-directed.
- Desktop support experience, mostly with Windows PCs but Mac experience is a plus.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM tool is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Top-notch customer focus.
- Ticket management.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects.
- Must be able to work independently and take initiative to identify, track, and resolve issues.
- Effectively manages up as needed.
- Client-facing roles require good interpersonal skills, including collaboration and communication.
- Engaged in cross-training efforts amongst peers where applicable.
- Contribute to site level operational readiness, process improvement, and support special IT projects as requested.
- Ideal candidate must be able to develop relationships with all levels of customers within the business (individual contributor to c-suite).
- Must be able to bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and crawl under a desk.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support.
- Experience with Windows PCs and Macs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to identify, track, and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
