You will have experience in the design of logistics automation equipment such as high-speed sortation systems, order fulfillment machinery or other machines with similar complexity.
You will have experience collaborating with Sales and Solution Design Engineering to convert concept level drawings into detail equipment designs and mechanical installation packages.
You will have experience applying and incorporating material handling technologies into designs based on system requirements.
You will have experience collaborating with Electrical and Control Engineering workstreams during detail design layout and equipment selection.
You will have experience working with material handling equipment suppliers and manufacturing to identify and support design and equipment procurement activities.
You will have advanced level experience in the use of premium 3D CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Pro-E, Solid Works, etc
You will have experience in the creation of detailed, accurate technical data packages including schematics, assembly drawings and bills of material.
You will possess a working knowledge of project requirement, constraints, and budgets.
You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of ten (10) years of applicable experience
You have a proven track record of expertise in the mechanical engineering field.
You have AutoCAD 2D & 3D proficiency
You have experience with complex integrated systems.
You have strong collaboration skills, with an entrepreneurial spirit.
