We are looking for a Site Service Engineer to work within our Customer Service department to maintain, repair, service and retrofit Koerber’s range of products in existing warehouses around the UK.
Your role in our team
- You will execute the service jobs according to our SLA
- You will establish an excellent long-term relationship with our customers in order to resolve issues and follow up on important matters at their sites
- You will perform maintenance service on customer equipment
- You will troubleshoot and repair breakdowns (electric & mechanical).
- You will assemble new electrical and mechanical equipment at the customer in connection with project work.
- You will perform training for customers in maintenance of our equipment.
- You will prepare and report service visits, ensure that recommended spare parts list is supplied to customers
- You will update CMR system with last service activity.
Your profile
- You have considerable field service experience and a strong track record in a similar role
- You possess an electrical engineering qualification with experience in fault finding and repairing.
- You hold Mechanical qualifications, with experience working on cranes, lifts, and conveyors
- Experience with PLC and controls is advantageous
- You have high confidence level to work at heights – valid certification for working at heights
- You have great communication skills and the ability to engage with the customer
- You have the flexibility to work weekends as required and be prepared to travel as the job requires frequent visits to sites across the country.
- You are self-driven and proactive
- You are calm in stressful situations
- You have the ability to own and follow through on commitments to completion
- You are proficient in Word, Excel & Outlook, able to do administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting
