As a RTW & Soft Accessories Merchandiser you will be responsible for providing support in the creation and management of the range plan and assortment for all Formal RTW and Soft accessories categories based on brand vision, customer trends and analysis of past launch performances. You would help guarantee the respect of development timelines, OTB, margin and inventory targets whilst also fully supporting the planning and buying activities.
Key responsibilities
Based on brand strategy, customer insights, market trends, analysis of the former sales indicators and past seasons’ wins, and opportunities, support the definition of a top-line, merchandising strategy and range planning for RTW and Soft accessories.
Actively support the preparation of the briefs to the design team and its continuous revision based on latest trends.
Collaborate closely with the regional merchandising teams, commercial and wholesale to capture opportunities and develop capsules and special projects.
Support the range planning and the management of continuity performance, lifecycle and launch/discontinuation.
Work closely with Product Development department in reviewing all product and cost information, ensuring that critical path deadlines are met and that new product launches reach the markets on schedule.
Collaborate in the review of product and collection performance through key indicators: sales in value and units, sales mix, average selling price, rate of sale, stock cover, seasonal sell-through.
Support the definition of action plans in response to sales trends and propose solutions in conjunction with the business planning team, product development and supply chain.
Support Brand Image team by providing all relevant information re sample changes in occasion of photoshoots.
Create and manage key product merch tools and manage the upload & update of product information on the system (ie. Collection Overview, Mapping, Price List, System: ARF and DP upload, pricing).
Lead the preparation of Formal RTW & Soft accessories Quarterly Business Review and other ad hoc analysis, be accountable for the Formal categories.
Continuously collect and review competitor’s intel: pricing, product offer, structure of range, new launches, etc.
Collaborate with VM team in adjusting guidelines to reflect commercial needs and to optimise localised performance
Support the growth and management of MTM categories, support with the management for all relevant tools, range plan, price tool, etc.
