Responsibility for for timely and accurate reporting to Group and other regulatory/statutory reporting. This is done by ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled, and all variances known and resolved.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation of month end Dyrect pack and first review of reporting for dedicated brands;
Clearing all error queues and control accounts and make appropriate reclassifications where required;
Responsibility for Accounts Receivable Function in conjunction with the Accounts Assistant
Reconciliation of complex balance sheet accounts (such as bonus accrual, Long Term retention, AP/AR revaluation and balance reclassifications);
Assistance with the preparation of statutory accounts
Assistance with the preparation of annual tax computation workings, and half-year/year-end tax disclosures;
Preparation of monthly VAT return and respond to any HMRC queries;
Preparation of ad hoc Group reporting (lease reporting, sales network etc);
Back-up user for RFBO functions (stock takes, red lights etc)

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
Ability to maintain accuracy & timeliness within a high volume, deadline driven department
To review processes and introduce improvements and time-saving measures on a continuous basis
To remain vigilant to any potential cost-saving measures that may become apparent & report these appropriately
Strong technical accounting background and relevant computer skills in SAP R/3 FI-CO & Excel
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
Team player with the agility to multitask whilst capable & comfortable with working independently
