Job in a nutshell:
The Engagement Lead is responsible for driving improvements in all people areas such as absence, attrition, recruitment, and engagement ensuring that all people initiatives are being implemented effectively and that appropriate action is being taken across the area of responsibility i.e., region or office.
The aim of the role is to improve levels of engagement across all people led areas, supporting change, driving suggestions for improvement, coming up with innovative ways to support the people strategy delivery, strong awareness of any area through identifying attrition, absence trends, supporting the creation of regional/office action plans to drive improvement, collaborating with key stakeholders.
Understanding the root cause of our people challenges and ensuring actions are taken to address them is a critical part of the role, the Engagement Lead will be pivotal to aiding understanding of issues at the grass roots along with ensuring that implementation of improvements is done in an effective and sustainable way
This role is very much a ‘hands on role’ with the expectation that the Engagement Lead will be heavily involved in working with managers, including senior management (both clinical and non) supporting them in the day to day delivery of any engagement activities whilst helping managers build an engaged workforce.
Detailed Responsibilities:
The Engagement Lead will create and analyze data to support findings and advance the people strategy future activity is core to this position.
The scope of the role is primarily focused across sickness, attrition and engagement (GP2W and communications) activities.
Manage the escalation/feedback process to all levels of management, addressing and dealing with any issues that arise in an appropriate manner, and only escalating when it is necessary to do so.
This is a key role in supporting the successful achievement of the IAS people strategy, of which engagement is one of the three focus areas.
The NI Engagement Lead will also line manage the Internal Communications and Engagement Admin role and the Non -Clinical Training and Development Coach.
