Our intern program offers you the opportunity to learn about Claims with a view to pursuing a career with a leading global provider of insurance and other insurance-based forms of risk transfer.
Throughout the program, you will be based within the Claims department and receive on-the-job guidance and support from qualified professionals.
This is a 10-week internship with an expected start date on 24th of June 2024.
About the Role
You will be supported by both the UK Claims team who manage Property, Casualty, Aviation and Financial & Professional Liability claims, and the global claims team who lead Counter Fraud, Recovery, Vendor Management and Data Analytics.
Day to day tasks will vary however, they will be set to help you develop an understanding of the business and the insurance industry.
• You will have the opportunity to support some interesting projects including:
o Developing predictive analytics solutions within Fraud & Recovery
o Assisting in the development and testing of Claims Dashboards
o Supporting the e-billing procurement project with vendor assessment and reporting
o Developing of fraud governance reporting processes
Tasks may include general administrative and support duties, assistance with claims handling activities, dealing with internal stakeholders, external clients, and suppliers as well as participation in wider group projects.
About You
We are looking for a detail-oriented intern with good organizational skills as well as:
• Experience and Interest in Data Analysis
• Proficiency in Excel – able to develop pivot tables, etc
• Proficiency in PowerPoint #LI-Hybrid
