A DAY IN THE LIFE:
A junior team member contributing to the design and development of test automation tools & infrastructure. In this role, you will work with embedded, mobile, web, and end to end teams to ensure our systems are scalable, maintainable, and testable.
- Under supervision, implement new features to enable better automated testing.
- Help create tooling unit and integration tests.
- Build CI pipelines for internal tool development and external customers.
- Participate in maintenance of test lab, including embedded, mobile, and cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute to documentation, including specification, interface descriptions, and others.
- Assist in fixing tooling or infrastructure defects.
- Use tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio Code, Git, JIRA, and Confluence to plan, coordinate, and manage your work.
- Confirms completion of required training plan before assuming job responsibilities.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.
YOU’RE AWESOME AT:
- Able to effectively convey information related to work product in one-on-one conversation or in a group.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Able to alter behavior and opinions due to new information.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
YOU'LL NEED:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Post high school technical training, preferred.
- Experience with a scripting language such as JavaScript.
- Intern experience in related environment, preferred.

COMPENSATION:
The pay for this position is $21.00 per hour. Pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market.
*This is a temporary position. As a temporary employee you will be employed through a staffing agency partner. Benefits during your temporary assignment may be provided by the staffing agency. Access to Tandem sponsored benefits is contingent upon conversion from temporary to regular full-time status. Conversion is determined based upon business need and job performance.
