LinQuest is seeking a talented Model Based Systems Engineer to join our team in Beavercreek, OH. US citizenship and an active/current DoD Secret clearance is required.
As a Model Based Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by leveraging your knowledge of Cameo to contribute to cutting-edge projects. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development and enhancement of complex systems ensuring the highest level of precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in Cameo to create and maintain detailed system architectures and models.
- Work within a team of analysts and data engineers to import/export data from Cameo, streamlining processes and improving management and access to data contained within MBSE tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze complex system requirements and provide innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to gather and refine system modeling requirements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on Cameo techniques and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Cameo for system modeling.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze and address complex challenges.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software applications.
- US Citizenship.
- DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Well-practiced capability using SysML or UML for systems development and experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo, SparxEA, Rhapsody, etc.
- Experience with SysML or UML
- Familiarity with SysML 2.0
- Knowledge of digital engineering initiatives within the DoD
- Familiarity with Data Engineering concepts
- Familiarity with MBSE integration with MS&A toolsets like MATLAB/Simulink
- Previous involvement in Digital Engineering transformation initiatives
- Experience executing conceptual design and complex modeling, simulation, and analysis
