Overview
Xtream Arena and the GreenState Family Fieldhouse is currently seeking outgoing, motivated people to join Marketing and group sales team and assist in various aspects of venue management. Assistants will get hands-on experience hosting first-class events, including but not limited to, Iowa Heartlanders ECHL Hockey, University of Iowa Volleyball, concerts, family shows and other events. Post-graduate opportunities may be available with other venues within the OVG family. Compensation is provided.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $11.00 to $15.00.

About the Venue
Xtream Arena powered by Mediacom & GreenState Family Fieldhouse serves as a highly accessible and most importantly right-sized venue for concerts, family shows, and special events. Xtream Arena & GreenState Family Fieldhouse fulfills a longstanding community and economic development void in Coralville and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
Will assist the Director of Marketing in implementation of digital strategy including creating content for social channels, website updating and email marketing. Support group sales efforts of Xtream Arena Gold Access, the corporate partnerships program and develop group sales lists for outreach. Oversee and implement grassroots marketing efforts for sporting events and concerts booked in the facility. Learn how to create, upload, and run graphics on Daktronics video and ribbon boards and other advertising systems within the venue.
Qualifications
- At least one (1) academic year remaining at a 2- or 4- year program
- Available to work approximately 15-20 hours/week in an office setting
- Available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Strong work ethic
