NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Associate Director, Professional Development & Career Education. The Senior Associate Director will work on a dynamic team to enhance existing Undergraduate College (UC) programming in the areas of career and professional development and oversee the Stern Undergraduate College’s Peer Mentors Program. The selected candidate will cultivate and manage new career and professional/leadership development programs, including distinctive co-curricular programs that will allow students to connect classroom experiences with the needs of the modern workplace. The Senior Associate Director will lead event planning and execution for career and professional development programs for the undergraduate student community, assess the needs of the student community, and evaluate the effectiveness of professional development and careereducation programming.
The selected candidate must have a bachelor's degree and 5 years of progressively responsible professional-level experience in higher education in the area of student engagement, leadership development, alumni affairs, advising or career development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, strategic, management, and systems skills are required. Proven ability to plan and implement programs with quantifiable results is also required.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $78,000.00 to USD $98,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
