Manage academic, administrative, and student services operations of the Ph.D. and MS programs for the Department of Mathematics of the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, including student recruitment, admissions, academic and career counseling. Advise students on graduate admissions, registration, and program requirements and departmental and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences policies and procedures. Advise international students on related visa issues. Develop course schedules, orientations and examination dates; assist the Directors with the development and implementation of departmental administrative and academic policies.
Required Education:Bachelor's DegreePreferred Education:Master's Degree Master's in Higher Education Administration, Counseling or a related field.Required Experience:3+ years 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent. Must include experience with planning and administering activities, academic advising and staff supervision.Preferred Experience:Experience with student recruitment, admissions, advisement and career placement of graduate students.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $62,400.00 to USD $74,000.00.
