Responsibilities
- Database system design, maintenance, and support - Managing, installing, and modifying data systems utilizing IIS with SQL back-end.
- Perform upgrades, configurations, and installs as needed to meet customer’s needs.
- Primary SQL administrator for Network Control Center.
- Local/wide area network design, maintenance, and support – Windows Server & VMware vSphere administration.
- Maintenance plans, backups, and basic network troubleshooting with PowerShell & SSMS. Setup, manage, and configure virtual machines from shell to fully operational & compliant systems.
- Repair IIS internal website errors in SQL
- Network support - Orion SolarWinds for monitoring servers and networks; addressing needs based on warnings and alerts.
- Generating and compiling reports for customer to view/track metrics.
- Basic network setup and configuration fluency.
Printer administration and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Qualifications
- IIS, VBS/Visual Studios, Windows Server: Desktop & Enterprise, SQL database
- SolarWinds and VMware experience creating, monitoring, deploying, and managing servers and devices in a virtualized environment.
- Familiar with Intune, Azure, Blackberry UEM and Mobile Device Management (MDM). Active Directory DS permission, object, and schema management.
- Experience in modifying and implementing basic scripts in PowerShell and command line for remote network management.
- Basic networking implementation in DNS, IP protocols, IPv4&IPv6 configuration, basic network troubleshooting.
- Experienced in patching, ACAS, and STIGs for vulnerability management, while using Microsoft Software Center for updating/patching.
- Basic working knowledge of NetApp and HP3PAR SAN and NAS systems.
