Role Description:As a Test Engineer at Peraton, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and overseeing Test Engineering services as part of a compact team. Your expertise will be crucial in enabling the strategic planning and implementation phases of a major program. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and establishing an automated virtual test environment within a cloud-based infrastructure, utilizing tools such as Ansible Playbooks and Gitlab.
- Maintaining the Program’s Requirements Traceability Verification Matrix (RVTM), ensuring accurate information exchanges for each subsystem and its components crucial for Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) processes.
- Overseeing the establishment of a Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), including Test Plans, an updated RVTM, Test Cases, and detailed procedures.
- Managing the Critical Operational Issues table within the RVTM, integrating measures of effectiveness (MOEs) as provided by the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC).

Qualifications
Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of experience as a Test Engineer (TE). Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Experience with testing design in creating a virtual test environment
- Experience with executing testing within that environment
- Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:
- Evidence of having led a software development test effort
- Evidence of having supported an Agile software development effort
- Demonstrated experience with automated testing
- LINUX and Windows applications experience
- Ability to provide primary liaison between the test team and the Government leadership
- Excellent written and oral communications experience

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
