As an information System Security Senior Advisor for the program, you will be expected to:
Provide technical and procedural Information System (IS) Security advice to government and customer teams.
Generate and maintain the complete security Body of Evidence (BoE) while leading the Assessment and Authorization( A&A) activities according to the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes (ICD 503, CNSSI-1253, NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, etc.) for all multiple information systems.
Oversee and manage operational information systems security implementation policy and guidelines.
Oversee Information System Security Officer (ISSOs) under their purview to ensure they follow established IS policies and procedures.
Assume ISSO responsibilities in the absence of the ISSO; maintain required IA certifications.
Ensure Configuration Management (CM) policies and procedures for authorizing the use of hardware/software on an IS are followed. Any additions, changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware must be coordinated with the appropriate Authorizing Official and follow the customer’s RMF process prior to the addition, change or modification.
Design and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, alerts, and advanced visualizations based on customer requirements per the Intelligence Community Standard (ICS) 500-27
Develop and customize SPL search queries and promote advanced searching, forensics, and analytics and monitor operational health, security, networking, and storage of AWS cloud web applications
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
14+ years supporting Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and information assurance processes and documentation using RMF, BS degree; 12+ years of experience with a masters; 7+ years with a PhD; or an additional 4 years of experience required in lieu of a degree
Willingness to work outside of standard hours if circumstances require
DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certifications (e.g., Security+) certifications
RMF, Xacta experience
CISSP
Certified Splunk Enterprise Admin
Certified Splunk Core Power User
Certified AWS Cloud Architect-Associate
Work 100% onsite in a secure environment
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working with System Security Control Matrices
Experience working Security test Procedures

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
