Responsibilities
Provides expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives. Maintains smooth operation of multi-user cloud computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating cloud based mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase cloud based hardware resources and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Works independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance. Devises and/or modifies procedures to solve technical problems related to cloud capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Configures, installs, maintains, and upgrades server applications and cloud resources. Evaluates, tests, recommends, coordinates, monitors, and maintains information systems (IS) and cyber security policies, procedures, and systems, including access management.

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
