LMI is seeking a Solution Architect with a systems engineering background to lead solutioning and architecture efforts for the deployment of a sensor mesh technology solution in support of a joint Army-Navy initiative. The solution will provide increased in-transit visibility of assets through the use of mesh tags, repeaters and gateways.
At LMI, we’re reimagining the path from insight to outcome at The New Speed of Possible™. Combining a legacy of over 60 years of federal expertise with our innovation ecosystem, we minimize time to value and accelerate mission success. We energize the brightest minds with emerging technologies to inspire creative solutioning and push the boundaries of capability. LMI advances the pace of progress, enabling our customers to thrive while adapting to evolving mission needs.
Substantially contribute to a multi-disciplinary team which is conceptualizing, architecting, developing, and integrating software and hardware solutions.
Provide enterprise, business and solution architecture leadership to develop and oversee the technical blueprint, assist in the translation of functional capability into the functional and technical architecture for that capability, help lead the definition of the EA framework, and provide governance support over the implementation and management of that framework.
Provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
Collaborate with multiple Agile development teams consisting of full stack developers, data architects, cyber engineers, hardware SMEs, and logistics SMEs to define, develop and deploy the architecture for a mesh-based sensor solution spanning multiple pilot sites.
Help identify and collect all RFID, mesh and data collection requirements necessary to develop a scalable solution architecture.
Engage stakeholders and team members to solve various complex technology challenges across the enterprise.
Work across multiple programs to compose an integrated technical plan/architecture.
Understand Army Transportation Management Systems and movement data requirements to support future interfaces with existing systems.
Communicate with clients to assess current transportation operations, identifying areas for improvement and how to leverage mesh technology to achieve in-transit visibility.
Convey the technical architecture for evaluation and consumption by both management and technical teams.
