Business Contribution:
To effectively support the stores Team Leader with the storage and movement of production work-in-progress, components, and finished goods assemblies. Working with supply chain to ensure timely pick-up parts and materials from subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
q To support and ensure that all components are appropriately stored in their designated locations.
q To ensure materials are transported to and from sub-contractors in a timely manner
q To accurately perform all booking in/out transactions
q To ensure that all substances, stored or to be transported, are appropriately labelled in suitable containers.
q To support packaging of all goods for transportation purposes
q To support all dispatches have appropriate documentation
q To perform stock counts for the appropriate stock location when requested by the Stock Controller
q To ensure that all housekeeping duties are continuously performed within the appropriate stores location
q To participate in 6S activities
q To adhere to the company's procedures in relation to the Quality Management and Environmental systems
q Assist in the maintenance of the facility
q To complete any ad-hoc duties as requested by the Line Manager
q Proactively participate to safety awareness and improvement
q Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally.
q Follow the published processes and comply with all company policies and procedures.
q Be an ambassador for the businesses in particular ensure that Health & Safety comes first at all times
q To always ensure that their acts or omissions do not present a danger to themselves, anyone else, the environment or the safe operation of any plant or equipment
q To intervene and report any defect in equipment or practice or any dangerous circumstance or event which could affect HSEQ performance
q To comply with all HSEQ requirements imposed by clients on their sites
q To actively propose and implement improvements to HSSEQ systems
q To cooperate with the company in achieving HSSEQ objectives
q To participate fully in Continuous Improvement (LEAD) activities where necessary & when required.
Required Capabilities:
q A competent team player
q An effective communicator
q Experience in a stock control/warehousing environment
q Experience in a reactive environment (I.e having a consistent focus on priorities and associated deadlines)
q Experience in operating ERP systems would be advantageous
q Computer literate
q Current forklift licence
q Clean driving licence
